I found a lump in my breast a few months ago and got it checked out. I just finished getting a mammogram (which apparently wasn’t helpful since I have very dense breast tissue) and an ultrasound. The radiologist is pretty confident it’s a fibroadenoma but because of my age (32) and my family history, wants a biopsy just to be 100% sure it’s not cancer. Has anyone gone through this? What was your experience? I am thinking I want to have an excisional biopsy and have the whole thing taken out. Did you do the biopsy? Have it removed?
