IUI with or without ultrasound??

Hi! We’re starting our first cycle of IUI this month with Letrozole/Femara. Our clinic usually does the procedure without ultrasound and said they found ultrasound monitoring didn’t improve success rates. They don’t recommend it, BUT they said if we want the monitoring, they’ll be happy to oblige.

In your opinion / experience, do you think ultrasound monitoring is important? The clinic charges $500 for the IUI and another $500 for the ultrasound monitoring if we want it. I’m also concerned with the time commitment of having to take time off to go in for extra appointments. So, would you get the u/s monitoring??
