So my boyfriend and I have been together for a little over a year. We are really happy together, and I can see a future with him. He went high school with my ex BF, so they knew each other. Every once in a while, at some point in our a relationship, my current BF will bring up something about my ex like “did he do this” or “did he ever do that”. Like if I’ve mentioned something that I don’t absolutely love in a relationship, or something that I do love in the relationship he will compare what he is doing to my ex. Now the thing is, obviously he knows we dated in the past but I never talk about him. My ex is my past and I don’t want to talk about an ex bf with my current bf. How do I tell him that I’d rather now talk about my ex without it coming across as rude?
