Part time jobs in career path

I’m 16 and I know I want to go into the medical field (medical examiner specifically) but I want a part time job now and my dad won’t let me get one unless it’s on the path to my career. Is there any jobs for minors in healthcare?? I keep trying to tell him that there isn’t but he still insists that I get a job in that field. It’s so frustrating all I want to do is babysit and hang out with kids while I’m young and don’t have any major responsibility yet.
