Yes, a ton of times. My family was poor and my parents were abusive. They’d withhold food from me or intentionally put gross stuff in it so I wouldn’t eat. So I’ve stolen food a lot. I also would steal random stuff because I just got in the habit of stealing and I was mad at the world and thought it would make me feel better for some reason. I don’t do it anymore. But yeah. And there have of course been times where I accidentally walked out of the store without paying for one item. I think a lot of people have done that.

I stole a pair of red thong underwear from Bealls Outlet when I was 14. I was with my varsity cheer "big sister" on an outing and she was stealing a ton of bras and stuff. I just froze and didn't know what to do because I don't steal. She laid on the pressure so I took a  small pair of undies and then never hung out with her again.

Once when I was little I accidentally stole a bow from a Hallmark store. I had it in my hand to show my mom and forgot about it and we walked out with it. When I realized I was mortified and my mom took it back for me (it was totally an accident). Never actually stole something.

Last summer I bought a bunch of crop tops from Forever 21 and when I went home and looked over my receipt, I saw how the cashier didn’t ring up three of them. I went back the next day to pay for them.

Well I accidentally walked out with my whole cart of groceries without paying at self check out. I was a little down the road before I realized what I did and turned around to go pay. Nothing like pregnancy brain lol but I’ve never not paid for something.

I almost walked out of Barnes and Noble with a book one time but when I realized I hadn’t paid, we went back in and paid for it.

On accident I took a pair of sunglasses. I checked out and bought other things. I was trying them on and decided I wanted them and put them on top of my head instead of in the basket. I checked out and bought everything else. The checker didn’t notice either. I didn’t notice until I was 30 mins away arriving to a party and has sunglasses on my head haha. I actually ended up losing them that same night.
