“Washing” a test
Has anyone tried this trick?? It’s when you have a questionable evap line so you add water to the urine strip and as the water moves across it washes the urine off making the test whiter. As it does this (while the test is still wet) if the line remains it’s a true faint positive but if the mine disappears it was an evap. I’m wondering how much truth there is to it and if you’ve ever done it what was your outcome. Here’s some of mine so you get a visual.
Here’s my evap (note it does have color)
Here’s during the wash as the water moves across
Here’s after it was done running across while still wet
That line still has color! My period was due Thursday too by the way.
Updated to add: I’m fully aware of the directions. I don’t need negative comments or someone telling me to take another test. If you haven’t done it or have something negative to say simply don’t comment. It’s an interesting trick that I was wondering if others had tried. Just like how people put their blood on hpt tests. Thank you
