New to this community. Had my first ultrasound today at 9 w, 6 d. Diagnosed with blighted ovum - gestational sac present but no baby. Doc said either egg or sperm was missing DNA to form baby. This is my second loss. First time was a missed miscarriage in 2009 - also at 9 weeks and some days but baby measured 8 w, 1 d and no heartbeat. I've had one healthy pregnancy and birth in 2011 - I praise God for my daughter but am saddened by another loss...
