Why are all boys the same?

I’m a freshman in college and literally all the guys i’ve talked to plus all the guys my friend’s have talked to all want the same thing. Sex. And they’re all egotistical and entitled. Why is it like this?? It’s driving me nuts.

They’re not all the same. But trust me they mature as they get older. When I was a freshman it was hard to find guys who wanted a relationship too

They aren’t the same, it’s just the guys either in the crowd you hang around or the guys that are coming to you ( confident looking for sex type) my advice, if I could turn back time, find a guy outside of your normal group. The quiet one who works hard at school, has goals, has a great personality, and likes you as a person not as a woman.

Leg me tell ya something, guys in college more often than not aren’t looking for anything long term or serious. It’s because college is a party and focusing on school. Room for a relationship is likely to sound like too much to handle. They know that when they finish college they go off to work, and adding another variable to that (a girlfriend who’s either still in college or has a different job) will complicate that. 
There are some who want something serious, and mad respect for those guys. I had no real luck in college, but found someone outside of it who was settled and ready for something real, and he’s amazing. I don’t know why I ever settled for anything less. 
Tips for you since you’re just starting out college: 
1. School comes first. Don’t let a stupid guy break your heart and make you miss studying and assignments. Not worth it. 
2. Get on birth control if you aren’t already. Plan B doesn’t count. Find something that works. 
3. USE CONDOMS EVERY TIME. Even if he says he’s clean many STIs are present in men with no symptoms. Protect yourself. Doesn’t matter how sincere or hot he seems don’t have sex without it. 
4. Have fun girl!!! Sorry I know I sounded all serious but college can be a blast. Just look out for your own well-being and you’ll be fine.
