Post IUI - only walking no other exercise?

Question

Our clinic told me that even after the IUI I shouldn’t be exercising besides walking. Is this normal? I’m doing medicated cycles so taking Estrace and progesterone tablets but that’s it now. In the 2WW but feel fine. Just want to see if this is normal or an over reaction from the nursing staff at my clinic. Unfortunately I don’t have access to the doctor just nurses until I meet with him next month...which I plan on asking him.

I was told to just do my normal activities. My first IUI, I still took it easy. After the first and second IUI though resulting in BFN, I decided to just stop all “symptom spotting” and to go about my days as I usually do. Our 3rd IUI was successful and I did have symptoms as early as 8 dpiui, but just assumed my period was coming. I’m almost 24 weeks with a healthy baby boy!! All the best!

I was told the same thing - just stick to walking during the TWW. It’s tough because I always like to use working out as an outlet to clear my head / get my aggression out!

After my IUI I was told no heavy lifting or strenuous activities that day. But I’ve also been told by my fertility doctor that he doesn’t want me doing any cardio or anything over a slow walk on my treadmill at all during the whole process for the past year. He doesn’t want my heart rate above 150..

I was told to go about my days as I would normally.  I guess it depends on the different meds you are on?
