I know this has been asked before but now I am getting one from insurance so I need to know... Which is better?

I love my Spectra. It’s more customizable for your comfort and it’s super quiet. I also like that it’s a closed system so it’s more sanitary since the milk can’t back up into the tubes and motor.

I have spectra and it’s super easy to use. I got it because I wanted a closed system.

The milk doesn’t run through the suction tubes or motor so it’s way easier to clean

I had the medela two new ones broke on me when I EP I switched to spectra it was gentler and felt more like natural nursing. Medela rilled my nipples off. Quite literally they were starting to peel off.

I do not have any experience with the Spectra, but I have heard great things about it. I used the Medela Sonata, which I was able to get free through insurance. I LOVE the Sonata!👌🏾 Like I said, I do not have experience with the Spectra so I cannot speak on it.

I have the Spectra s2 and LOVE it. My sister in law came to visit over Christmas and brought her Medela and when she saw me using mine she couldn't believe how much quieter and easy to use it was. It's the only pump I've ever had so I can't speak for the other brands, but as a first timer it's very user friendly.

I had a Medela pump in style with my son and insurance paid for a Spectra S2 this time around. I like my Spectra a LOT more. It has buttons instead of dials and I think the valves/membranes are easier to clean. Medela is compatible with a lot more types of bottles, but the Spectra is compatible with Avent Natural flow bottles. The Spectra is bigger than the Medela model I had, but I bought a Dr. Browns brand pumping bag and have plenty of room. It also has a light on it for late night pumpings and I absolutely love that it has a digital display that keeps track of how long you've pumped so you dont have to remember to set a seperate timer.

Following. I’ve heard great things about both but from my research I’ll probably end up getting the spectra
