Toddler and newborn in the same room ??

Question

Has anyone had to do this and it worked out ok ??
I’m in a one bedroom right now. Thought we would’ve moved before baby but that doesn’t look like it’s happening ...
I’m worried newborn waking at night will wake the toddler ??  
If you’ve had to do this what do you recommend ? Advice and tips appreciated!!

My newborn rarely woke up my 2 year old. My 2 year old also sleeps like a rock though.

Well we cosleep with our 2 year old and our almost 5 month old sleeps in a pack and play in the same room and we have never had any problems. Our older child isn't a light sleeper though.

Mine slept in the same room with us and very rarely would my newborn wake up my almost two year old. Usually I would just make sure to get up with the baby pretty quick and it worked out. I was a very light sleeper though. Good luck

My two are going in together eventually, but quickly realized that it won’t be quite as soon as I’d hoped. Big brother is a little too smotheringly affectionate, not to mention his current obsession with climbing in little sister’s crib. Have to wait until she’s big enough to punch him back🤣
