Pregnancies close together?

Question

Has anyone had pregnancies close together? And if so, how soon after a baby did you get pregnant? I'm due in August and am thinking ahead if we want to have a second child, I'd like to do so before I turn 40. Just looking for other people's experience/opinions with this. Thanks!

I just had my second baby at age 38. She is 15 months younger than her brother. Both pregnancies were low risk and the babies were healthy full term infants. The second one was much harder on my body though.

I haven’t had this happen yet; however made it a point to consult my doctor at my postpartum check/up. I know the recommendation is to wait 18 months after delivery to start trying again due to the risk factors. After discussion with my doctor including age, c section delivery, how long it took to conceive, health of my baby, and health of me / c-section recovery, I got the go ahead that it would be ok to start trying 6 months after delivery.

Well I’m 39 now, and currently pregnant with baby number 3, my daughter is 11 months now and will be 18 months by the time this baby arrives lol.

We started trying when my 1st baby was 7 months and i was 40. My doc seemed fine w it. I am 6wks preggers w my second and my baby is 8.5months

I’m almost 42 and have a 16 and 14 year old that are 2 years and 5 days apart. I have a 17 month old and am 8 weeks pregnant. This 4th baby was not planned. Having 2 in diapers can be a challenge but my older kids (boy and girl) are very close and had a blast together growing up. Hoping the two Littles have as good of a relationship.

I'm already thinking ahead just like u! I am due July 11th, and am already thinking about how soon I can get pregnant?🤔 bc of my age I would like to get pregnant again right away, at least 6 months after giving birth

I had three babies in three years. My first was a c section and I had two v bacs after him and everything was fine. Of course I was in my twenties which is a big difference from this pregnancy in my thirties lol

I'll be 39 in March. My oldest with be 5 end of April my 2nd turned 3 xmas eve my 3rd was 18 months end of December and we just found out we're expecting again ( not planned) will be 18 months between them.   So that's 4 babies in a little over 5 years. It's not easy but do able.

Speak to your doctor. Closely spaced pregnancies carry higher risks.
