Anyone else’s baby crawl different? My baby’s crawl is not the norm.... it’s more like a crab crawl with one of her legs. It’s never really worried me until now. I’ve seen her crawl “normal” sometimes but it’s mostly this awkward crawl which I’ve always thought was cute but recently have started to worry.

Mine crab crawls as well. He uses one knee but then uses the other foot to push himself forward.

Mine does an army crawl. She stays on her tummy and pushes herself forward with her legs. Don’t worry about it! As long as your baby is progressing in some way it’s fine. Some babies never crawl.

My oldest did at first.  My husband liked to joke about his “bad leg” because he crawled around like one leg was dead weight.
His goofy crawl has been one of my favorite parenting experiences.  Whenever someone else with a kid who crawled goofy saw his crawl, they would smile from the nostalgia.  It was like we were in some exclusive parenting club.
My oldest started using both legs 2.5-3 months after learning to crawl.
