When did you start letting your kids sleep with a toy at night?

My boy is 8 months. We got the clear from his doc to let him sleep with a “fuzzy.” It is essentially a fleece-type burp cloth. For whatever reason, he loves it and sleeps way better with it. 
General rule of thumb is a year. Ask your doc about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

My daughter is almost 8 months old and she currently has 4 “lovey” type stuffed animals in the crib with her. Most of them have binkies attached so it’s always easy for her to find a pacifier if she wakes up in the middle of the night. She also loves to cuddle them and feel the fabric on her cheek. There is also a Fisher Price monkey that plays music in the very corner of the crib.
