Off brand vs actual plan B

Last night I had sex with a friend and one of the condoms broke. As a precautionary measure I bought the off brand plan b from Walgreens because there was already a low chance of sperm being in me. Is there anyone who has used it by any chance and it worked because the reviews were mixed.
