Herpes and Oral?

I have herpes .. sadly. Does that mean I can never receive oral again? Does anyone else struggle with things like this? And btw if you know of any herpes support groups please drop them below 👇.

I would think not. Since herpes will be transmitted to the one giving you oral. There's sex toys out there that mimic oral.

I do not have either type of herpes, but I do know that they make something called a Dental Dam so that you can give/receive oral without spreading the virus.

I believe you can still receive oral. It’s best to not have any sexual contact while having a legion or a “break out” most of the time a person contracts it from someone who is not having a current break out.

I have HSV-1 but I got it on my genitals, so basically if there are sores it'll hurt but me and my partner both have it so I don't have to worry about shedding the virus to him

Almost everyone had the virus, cold sores at least. You should figure out if you have HSV 1 or HSV2, there's a difference. If it's HSV 1 then it's just like you have a cold sore. So if your partner gets cold sores already then you're in the clear 🤞
