How many diapers do you go through a day for a baby under 6 months?

Anything from 5-12a day if I remember correctly.

I have a 4 month old. We were going through about 5 per day. He usually lasts in a diaper for about 3 or 4 hours when just pee. I change it right away if poo. Never had any issues with diaper rash or anything. 
Now that he has started daycare we go through 7. I guess it's good they check and change his diaper ever hour but it's annoying and adds up 😒😫.
