I’m currently 32+1 second pregnancy, I was having Brixton Hicks and tightening from 3:30pm today it went on for 2 hours called my midwife she suggested panadol and to wait another hour if I was still having painful tummy tightening to go to L&D. Called her back at 6:30pm it was continuing so I went it. They had baby on the monitor being checked and I had an internal check I’m 1cm dilated . I have been put on medication to stop labour and relax the uterus . I was given a shot of steroids for baby’s lungs and I will have another shot of steriods tomorrow night. I was transferred to a hospital that can deliver babies from 32 weeks.

Baby is not due till March 23rd.

Has anyone experienced this?

Did you still go into labour even with the medication or were you able to hold on to your baby for a fee more weeks before going into labour? Any advice would be appreciated
