Miscarry because of different blood types?

So I’m having my second miscarriage, some people have mentioned if my husband and I have different blood types it can cause a miscarriage, there is a shot you can take to prevent it. Does anyone have any knowledge of this??

So what really matters is if you are rh positive or negative.
If you have rh negative blood and your partner has rh positive blood, you body could be miscarrying a baby that also has rh positive blood.
If you are rh positive his rh factor doesn’t matter because your body will be able to support an rh positive or an rh negative baby. 
For example, my blood type is B+ so I know that the reason I miscarried was not because of the rh factor.
I would definitely bring up your concerns with your doctor. It could be that, or low progesterone, or some other genetic factor! They should be able to test for all of it. I’m sorry you’re going through another loss. It’s a heartbreaking experience.

I have O- and had to get rhogam shot. They say it doesn’t affect first pregnancy but it affect second. Luckily for me my husband is O- so I didn’t really need the shot only got it because he was deployed and I didn’t have proof for my doctor.Then they give you one after birth but my daughter was O- so I didn’t have too.

Not early on, no. Different blood types does not affect the baby until the baby has its own blood which is roughly 10 weeks gestation. Even then, you specifically would have to be RH- (a negative blood type), and have experienced blood mixing in the form of bleeding during the pregnancy after the baby has developed it's own blood type, or a fall of some sort, for it to have any impact so early on. That's extremely rare. This is why the rhogam shot is administered at 26-28 weeks typically to avoid issue later into the pregnancy. Different blood types rarely impacts the pregnancy prior to that point.
