It took 2 years and 3 miscarriages before i would be seen for investigation work and tests. Now into are 3rd year of trying and 5th miscarriage and they are still testing.

I miscarried three times in 7 months and am getting the workup now. I would have had to waited until 1 year otherwise.

Answer

Depending on where you live (varies by country and maybe even by state/province), you may have to wait 12months before being referred for fertility unless you fall within certain parameters (I.e. over 35, pre-existing known issues) then you can be referred after 6 months.
