IUD???? I need help

I have been trying to find a different birth control other then the pill but I have heard mixed refuses about IUD's. Are they bad for you? If you have one how do you feel? What should I expect? Are they healthy?

Iud are not healthy , you're period starts getting out of control and you start having period more at this time, its Really bad my opinion is dont put iud use other options like comdoms... !:-)

Try the rod. It goes in your arm like a shot and is good for three years and can be taken out anytime if you change your mind. It's progesterone based, so no extra hormones.

I am on Mirena. I absolutely love it! I have never been pregnant so there was cramping for the first week on and off. However, I haven't had any issues since. It's fantastic as I don't have to worry about any user error. I check the strings every month and am good to go. There are various IUD's that are excellent. Skyla is a 3 year IUD that is slightly smaller typically for women who have not given birth. Then Mirena is a 5 year IUD and there is a 10 year copper IUD. If you have not given birth, schedule the insertion for when you are on your period as your cervix opens up during that time a bit which can cut down on insertion discomfort.

I can never remember to take the pills so I went to the nuva ring. It's amazing. You put it in and forget about it for 3 weeks, take it out, get your period, and put a new one in a week after you take it out. It's about the size of a hair tie and it goes up in there haha. It's the best so far for me.
