It's been a year and still no baby😓

So I'm 34 and I have a 12 year old son who I conceived when I was 21. His father has passed on and I found the love of my life and he doesn't have any kids yet. Were both the same age and I never had any trouble getting pregnant before...I went off birth control about a year ago and we don't wear any protection. I'm still not pregnant yet.....I don't know what can be wrong. Everyone around me said that I'm going to get pregnant between May and June of this year....I hope there isn't any issues. If there is how would they know if I am blocked or I'm just worried for nothing....I'm so sad....please help
