bfp...here’s how (note: may not apply for all)

Every time I see a BFP post I always wonder how?! Why?!? What’s the secret?
My husband (36) and I (32) have been ttc since August 2018. I bought the OPKs, went for a “we are thinking of conceiving” appt with my doc, have been taking prenatals since, and yet nothing was coming together like I thought it would (at the snap of a finger).
So we started with a OPKs and the prenatals. Sex during the glow green light window and notta. Then we did the same as above but sex every other day. Notta.
Then again just during the window and we got a vvfl in October (in Hawaii non the less) buutttt it was a chemical.
This continued for the next two cycles. By I added in temping. Still nothing. Then after I got my period at the end of December I was bemoaning my frustration to a friend who suggested Accupuncture. Now I know this isn’t as accessible for all women but with that and adding in a daily vitamin d I got my BFP starting at about 10 dpo.
We only did it three times during this cycle too. Maybe it was the Accupuncture, maybe the vitamin D, maybe the mindful relaxation for 40min a week...I can’t say but it happened and that’s all we all really want right? So baby dust to you all and I know for some of you 5 cycles sounds like a millennium and for some of you that’s like a minute. But I’ve learned so much from each of you sharing so I thought I’d do the same.
