Just wondering because I still get heavy periods and bad cramps how many others do too :)

My periods are heavy and 7 days long naturally the pill never changed that. Depo took my periods away but I gained 60 pounds in 6 months so stopped using it. I've had mirena IUD which is FDA approved to treat heavy periods and I love it. No weight gain, no periods, no pregnancy. I've had it 8 months now.
