Do you think navel piercings are tacky?

Do what you feel is right for you. Where I live, it's basically considered a stripper piercing. To each his own! You can always remove it if you don't like it. One word of caution, it's really painful when it gets stuck in your zipper.

Like you said yourself in your bio,"your body is your temple," emphasis on the YOUR , lol. If you like it do it. I've had mine for 4 years and its just basically a part of me I dont even notice it anymore. I personally hate the dangly ones, but again whatever you want. But I do not suggest a dangly one for your first piece of jewelry.

I've had mine since 2010, and people were always mean saying "big", "fat" girls don't look good in belly rings they are for skinny girls. My response was I didn't get my piercing to please u, I got it for me since I love piercings

Many people have it but hey many people have the same of a lot of things. Just remember that you're doing it for yourself and if you want it, go for it!

It depends on the piercing you have in it - I have friends who've had them since they were 14 and some took them out later but some didn't. Personally I feel like the super sparkly ones can be tacky but some are nicer. If you want one, go ahead and do it :) it's your choice because it's your body
