My daughter is terrified of vacuums. She never minded them much before, but lately she’s become obsessed. So much that she asks me several times a day ‘big vacuum go?’ I tell her that I put it away, it’s in the closet or it’s all gone, but she still continues to ask about it obsessively. I am worried I’m not saying the right thing and can be producing more anxiety for her. I’ve shown her where we keep it in the closet and we will go look when she wants to. Is there anything else I can do?
