What are some things I should/shouldn't buy from Costco or Sam's club?

I'm trying to save some money and I'm wanting to start making freezer meals and buying some things in bulk (if it's actually going to save money). My mom has memberships to both, so I can go to either one.
I'm wondering what are some things that are a better deal if bought at either of those stores and what are some things that are not.

Sam's Club toilet paper is freaking awesome lol I like the granola and dried mangoes, also. I don't really but much else there bc I have Amazon prime. Costco greek olives and diapers (if you have a LO). My step dad loves the frozen shrimp and eats it almost daily lol

Eh. Their prices are just ok to me. Can get things cheaper when you shop sale. To me those stores are for convenience only.

My trip to Costco last week was  Kirkland brand of dog food, cat food, coffee, toilet paper, mouth wash, and paper towels. Oil of Olay body wash, whichever kombucha has the better price, yogurt, nuts, wine, vodka, granola bars, lentils, clementines, blueberries, a giant bag of mixed greens, cranberry almond chicken salads in individual containers, brown eggs, and a hot dog at the end

I really like Costco canned chicken. Canned chicken used to gross me out for some reason, but it’s a huge time saver. And the Kirkland brand has nice solid chunks of meat.

We get salmon at Sams. (Wish we had Costco!) Sometimes I buy tuns of chobani and pacls of blueberries there as well. I coupon at other store for everything else so it pretty much seems over priced in most items. I have heard that the toilet paper is great. Even from extreme couponers.

We are avid Costco shoppers... some of their fresh produce is more expensive than in a grocery store. Ground meat/ pork chops cheaper at Costco then regular grocery stores. I find chicken breasts cheaper at a regular grocery store as they have them by me for around 1.89$ per pound. The giant bags of broccoli are a good deal. Usually they have some type of yogurt at practically a steal and cage free eggs at 3.50$. We also love their frozen stir fry bagged veggies.

What are some things I should/shouldn't buy from Costco or Sam's club?
