Anyone in a LAT (Living Apart Together) Relationship with a baby on the way?

I think a few people find it a bit taboo, but I don't know how taboo it is really.
People don't really get it or understand. One of the first things people say when I tell them we don't live togeather is, "you should move in togeather", which I find really strange.
Anyone else in a LAT relationship?
Are there any reasons why you're LAT?
If you have kids togeather what sort of impact does it have?

Well when I had my first child at 16 , my kids father and I didn’t live together but stayed the night each other homes on weekends. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Otherwise I would live with my partner unless we were like a one night stand or wasn’t in a committed relationship to be living apart?

👋🏼 Currently I am. We are working on it though. I’ll either move in to his house or he’ll sell and we’ll get an apartment together. But at the current moment, we are living apart and my mom continues to bug me about it. I’m not in the biggest rush though as we’re only at 14 weeks.

Me! My fiance loves with his brother and his mom, who had moved back in with them after she left her boyfriend. My son and I live with my parents. I'm 9 weeks pregnant. There just isnt enough room for all of us in one apartment. He refuses to live with me because we "have too many animals"

Your profile says 23 years old. Unless you’re a teenager living at home, why wouldn’t you just move in together if you’re expecting? I don’t understand.
