Pregnancy test question

Ok so I had sex two weeks before I had my missed period. I took the test the day after I missed my period and it was negative two weeks after that I took another test because I still didn't start my period. So could this mean I got pregnant when I ovulated two weeks before my period? And taking the test the day I missed that's why it was negative and two weeks later it was positive because I was always told when you missed your period you where 6 weeks pregnant no bashing please I haven't been seen by the doctor yet I have set up an appointment though
