Tattoo after baby?

How soon did you guys get a tattoo after you had your baby? 
I plan to breast feed and I read that it doesn’t affect anything. First time mommy so I don’t know the reality I’m about to be facing 😂😂😂

I personally think choices like these are up to you and what you think is best in your case! 
I personally don’t see any harm in it but I’ve seen some women say not to do it until after you are done breast feeding. I had a tattoo planned right  before I got pregnant and I’m itching for it to be done. I know how you feel 😭 unfortunately in my case the piece I want won’t be in my budget for a while.

I got one when my baby was 4 months. Everything turned out fine,  although I will say I wish I had done my research better before hand.  I definitely experienced a drop in my milk supply but after a few days (and a whole bunch of lactation tea) it went back to normal

I got one 2 months after and was breastfeeding everything turned out fine. I'm honestly probably going to do it again just bc it's usually what I get for a birthday present

I don’t think it would effect you breast feeding but just to be sure I’d ask your doctor at the next baby visit. Only they know the true answer

I am planning on going as soon as I'm done bleeding and able to sit comfortably for a decent amount of time. I usually sit for 4-6 hours at a time and don't want to have to worry about stopping to clean myself up a bunch of times.
