I spent the last 9 months reading peoples birth stories and getting excited to tell mine. However at my appointment on Tuesday when I was 39 weeks exactly, my dr checked me and she didn’t feel his head, she thought maybe his nose so she sent me for an ultrasound. I had my ultrasound on Wednesday and found out he was footling breech and would be very dangerous for him if I went into labour. I spent all Thursday calling my ob office and nagging them and feeling like they weren’t taking this seriously at all because my next appointment wasn’t scheduled till I was 40.1 weeks and I knew I’d need a csection before that. Finally someone clued in and contacted my dr to look at the results right away and I was scheduled for a csection Sunday morning at 8am. Definitely not what I was expecting at all but it also wasn’t as bad as I was expecting it to be either. I have the cutest, most precious baby out of the whole ordeal that I don’t even care how he came into this world, only that he is finally here 💕 Hudson John Van Es was born at 8:36am weighed 8lbs7oz and is 51 cm long on 01/27/19 and such a champ at breastfeeding already 🤗
