Do you think some people are taking neutral gender to far?

I felt very judged for having my daughter's hair in a small tie. I do think she looks cute that way. But I also do it so her hair isn't dangling in front of her eyes. Does this shift mean I'm going to be judged for dressing my girl up.

I don't think you understand what gender neutral means. It doesn't stop you from tying your girls hair up or dressing her up.

I got a call from my sons school because he wore a pink tshirt and the teacher (still) thought pink was for girls. Same person complains when he wears camo during hunting season, saying it promotes violence. Some people will never be happy.

I'll be honest, I'm all for trans/bi/gay/equal rights, but sometimes straight people say "you should feel repressed! You should be offended by this because you're different!" And it doesn't make sense. I'm bi, but that does t mean I personally want an "all sexes" restroom... I'm still a girl and I'm still not comfortable going pee with a dude taking a shit in the next stall over. But for the few that do want that, power to ya!
I think you should dress your kiddos how you like and when they get old enough to have an option about their outfits, listen to them! She might like dresses and tights, that's okay. She might love shorts and tank tops, that's cool too! I don't think is any different for boys. But we as a society need to dial it back... Target can unlabel the toys and girls or boys, that's fine because some boys are still gonna want trucks and some girls with want dolls... And some boys need a monster high doll and some girls gotta have that hot wheels (I played with hot wheels!) it's fine! Kids are kids! Let them be!

You may be taking the idea that it's somehow politically incorrect to do so? Why?

I tie my daughters hair up because we are trying to grow out her fringe. And I out my daughter in mostly dresses outside because that's what I wear. People are definitely taking this gender neutral thing too far. If someone says something it's because they have a problem, not you.
