I started the pill two months ago, primarily as a form of birth control (!!!!), but I specifically chose Sprintec (a levonorgestrol-free pill) to help with acne and to make my periods lighter. I did consider April (since it’s wonderful for acne), but it comes with a slightly higher risk of blood clots, so I went with Sprintec.

I tend to bleed pretty heavily for about 5 days, and since starting the pill, it hasn’t been any lighter— I’ve only had two periods, but I really (REALLY 🙏) want it to kick in.

Is there anyone here who’s tried Sprintec? What was your experience?
