Baby merlin magic sleep suit, yay or nay?

Question

Trying to find the best solution for transitioning my almost 4mo lo out of the halo swaddle sleep sack. He's struggles and is restless trying to get his hands free, which he eventually does. I tried the love to dream sack (kind of snug on his neck) and tried the sleep sack with arms completely out but he is still startling himself. Trying to decide between the magic suit or a zipadee-zip.

This is what we use dice growing out of Velcro swaddles 
Took two nights to get used to it but now back to 8-10 hours straight at night

we never used a sleep sack , or any of the things you have to buy . we've been swaddling her in a blanket her gma made her since she came home , we just started leaving the arms out this week , she still seems to like it .

Just purchased one for my LO bc she was breaking out of velcro swaddles. Not all the time but every once in a while since she has found her hands and she EFFIN HATES IT. Was up every 20 minutes w it.
Put her back in her swaddles and she sleeps 11 hours again

I considered it but finally decided not to, because it’s just another thing they need to learn to grow out of later. 
We stopped swaddling and he struggled a couple of nights and then he was fine. They will just sleep on their own after they startle themselves.

My sister in law used those for her son and swears by them. She gave them to us but we never used them because he turns on his side like he's going to roll from back to tummy (he's done this for a good 3 weeks already) so I'm afraid to put him in it. I don't think you're supposed to use them once they roll or are close to doing it. I know she said it helped with the startle reflex a lot though. 
We use the halo sleep sacks but have both arms out. Unfortunately he's too long for the medium now and the large doesn't have the option to swaddle where you can wrap it around their waist with their hands out.. it's just the sack and he's too small for just the sack. So we have him in a short-sleeve onesie and a fleece PJs right now for warmth. 
I wish there was some other way to prevent startling.. the zipadeezip is too high up on his neck and is uncomfortable bc he has so many chins 😂
We are goin to try the weighed sleep sack by the nested bean next..
