Helppppp
Okay a little history.
My baby started out on breast milk and we supplement fed at night with what he left the hospital on which was similac pro sensitive for about 2 weeks then we switched to strictly formula. After he was on it for a little over a month he went through 48 hours of literally spitting up his entire bottle and started refusing to eat and I got scared and finally contacted his doctor (we had previously discussed it and he suggested switching bottles first before formula). Okay so I get the bottles and he does the same thing. So I switched him to the formula the dr suggested which was Nutramigen and he absolutely refused it and made a disgusted face (my doc said apparently it tastes horrid) so I was desperate and got the next formula we had lined up which is Enfamil AR. Well he loved it and went back to eating his normal 4oz.
But now he’s constantly spitting up chunky milk and it’s always about an hour or later after he eats. This morning it lasted 30 mins. I’m gonna attach a picture. This was the second time he spit up and the first was even more. It’s getting to where I can’t stand putting him in his car seat because he immediately ruins his clothes. When I say ruin...I mean I have to get him out and change his clothes and clean the car seat out. It’s exhausting. I know spitting up is normal and everything but this to me is more than the occasional burping up of his food.
He is gaining weight normally but I’m asking for personal experiences. He doesn’t act bothered by it at all sometimes and then other times he cries about it. He has a dr appt today and I’m gonna bring it up AGAIN and hope he can get on some meds for it.
