How effective are spermicide condoms?

Hi everyone my boyfriend and I started using spermicide condoms and I was wondering if any of you have any experiences with it. We’ve used 3 and it was fine, no allergic reactions but we hate how they smell. They smell like regular latex condoms x3. It can be a turn off. Anyway do you guys think it’s worth it? Or should we go back to normal condoms?

Its your choice what youre comfortable with. For some people, condoms alone aren't enough and for some people it is. That's up to you and your partner to decide if you're okay with condoms and the protection they provide as well as their flaws

You could try a separate spermicide. I don’t know if it would be any different smelling though.
