It depends on your age. Typically they say 12 months if you’re under 30, 6 months if you’re 30+

I’ve just turned 31, been trying since about May but nothing yet. I do have PCO as well which probably is t helping me so I’m going to try loose 2 stone as I know that’s the first thing my doctors will say!!
