I’m so I have my checkup scheduled in March but I’ve had some questions about my mirena that maybe y’all can help me with.

I had my mirena implanted in April of last year. Since implantion, I’ve had light bleeding on and off as well as cramps that come pretty often. Sometimes unbearable cramping. I had intercourse for the first time 4 days ago since having the implanting and immediately after I noticed some spotting. Figured it was normal. Today, I’ve been having pretty strong cramping as well as spotting but once today it was a little heavier and red. Is the bleeding and cramps a normal thing even after almost a year of having the mirena or should I schedule an earlier appointment to have it looked at?
