What food do you give your cat usually?

Cats are terrible about drinking water and that’s why they become prone to having renal issues as they get older. I was told by my instructor that you should offer some wet food for them so they can get some water in their diet since they don’t drink water like dogs do. Most canned/wet foods are over 80% water. I give my cat 1/3 a cup of dry food twice a day and 1/2 a small can of cat food with the pm dry food.

A pouch of wet food in the morning and then dry throughout the day

Wet food maybe once a week or on especially trying days where she deserves a treat. Otherwise dry food in the morning and night.
We started off free feeding but she got chubby and is not on a weight control food 😬😂

Half of a can of wet with hard food on top. He has different medications that we can only successfully hide in his food if he has both types at once.
