What to do with baby when you need a shower?! 😩

Okay, first time momma!! I am home with baby girl while my husband works during the day. I have had an army offering to help with getting her to her doctors appointments and all that while I haven’t been cleared to drive. So I have always had someone around to help with the baby while I get myself ready to leave the house. Well now that I’m cleared to drive myself, I am at a loss of what to do with baby girl while I shower! I know I can set her in a safe space like her bassinet and she will be okay but I just stress over the fact that if she starts crying and needs something, I could be mid-shampoo! Help a new momma out!!

I always put the bouncy seat in the bathroom while I showered but I timed it after a feeding. Don’t worry, you will figure it out and get more and more comfortable. While it can be tormenting to listen to a baby cry. They will be fine for the two  minutes it takes you to rinse off.

My baby falls asleep after every feeding (she sleep most the entire day) so I time her and do what I have to when she’s sleep.

I used to do the bouncer trick too. This time we’re in a different house and the bathroom is right next to the master bedroom and I can hear if baby cries in the bassinet if I leave the door open.

With my first, I put him in the bouncer in the bathroom and played peek a boo with the shower curtain until he napped better, then I’d wait until nap time, and if he woke up while I was in there I’d remind myself that he was safe in the crib and couldn’t hurt himself in there. Now he’s 16 months old, I’m waiting for baby 2 to get here

I put her in her crib and she has to just cope for a few mins, third child for me so know she will survive 😂

I shower while she is napping. I lay her down in her crib and take the monitor with me in the bathroom.

If she cries for a little bit she will be ok ... but just try and time it the best you can to get in right when she falls asleep and she is fed so it’s less likely she will wake up

I’m a ftm and I just Time it with a nap or put her in this thing called a snuggle me organic on my bed and if she cries 🤷🏽‍♀️ my dr told me crying during a 15 min shower is okay.

I put mine in a bouncy seat in the bathroom while I shower lol. I leave the curtain open so I can see him.

I go and take a shower right after feeding her and her falling asleep. 
With my second baby I often did put him in his car seat and took him in the bathroom with me so I could see him
