HSG and sedative
I have an appointment next week for an HSG. I’ve read that it can be easy for some but painful for others. I do know to take ibuprofen beforehand but have read that some people have gotten prescribed a mild sedative prior to the procedure. I’m sure it will end up being nothing but the anxiety leading up to it will be excruciating. Those who have gotten a sedative, did it help with your experience? Or should I not bother with it?
