Bpp sono?
Okay, so I am 33 weeks and just found out starting at 34 weeks I have to come in once a week for a biophysical profile because the practice I go to says it’s standard precaution for anyone with a BMI over 30 which is me. My starting weight was 213 and I’m 5”6. I’m “pear shaped” tho so most my weight is hips, butt and thighs. I’ve always been told my waist is small and stomach isn’t really big. I’ve only gained 20 lbs and most was first and early 2nd trimester. I have only gained 2lbs since 26 weeks.
Anyway, I was just told about this bpp weekly sonogram today and just told that my BMI makes me higher risk. Kinda freaked me out everything has been great with baby she’s 47% for everything and was 4 lbs 8 oz today.
Anyone else dealing with this or bad experience with this? What are they checking for? Am I going to be induced? What does it mean for me and baby?
