Announcement too early??

So, my husband and I announced our pregnancy this weekend. I’m 13+3 and got back my NIPT test (all normal and healthy). 
Everyone was so excited, but one of my husband’s friends said we announced too early. Normally, this wouldn’t phase me and I wouldn’t care. But I’m already so anxious and paranoid about the baby that it just make me more nervous now!!
Did I jump the gun?? Should I have waited longer?

I am 10 weeks and 1 day and we already announced. It simply depends on you. You were obviously comfortable announcing and there is nothing wrong with that

With my last pregnancy we announced as soon as we got an ultrasound done. I was measuring around 6-7 weeks... if 13 weeks is too early then I’d hate to see what people think about when we announced for that pregnancy. 😂 I’m almost 10 weeks this time and we haven’t announced yet but I’m trying to do cutesy things this time, like announcements and pictures since I’ve never done them before and this is my fourth (and last, tubal ligation) pregnancy. So I’m trying to enjoy my experience. 😊

With my first 2 I announced right away. Now I am going to wait until I have my NIPT test back and then we will announce. That will be my 12th week. You did not announce to early, that guy should mind his own business.

There's always someone that has an opinion. We announced our pregnancy at 9 weeks. We just waited till our first ultrasound. Don't let anyone take your joy!

My sil and mil did the same to me by basically saying I was a minute pregnant when we told them at 8 weeks after having two ultrasounds and seeing we were having twins. I knew they would but my poor husband had no idea and we really hurt by their comments.
