I've contemplated posting this for days now..
So please dont be harsh on me.
This is a year's difference in photos. Which is also a 30lb difference. (I have to hold myself back from downplaying that 30lb loss because it did take a year to lose. I'm always extremely critical of myself.)
In the first picture, I had just moved to a new town. I was 5 months post partum and 185lbs. Could barely fit a size 16 jeans. And could handle wearing them for maybe 2-3 hours max, before ripping them off to replace with leggings.
The second picture is now, at 155lbs. I am 10lbs away from reaching my pre pregnancy weight. And 40lbs away from my goal weight. Size 12 jeans officially need a belt, and have become baggy on my thundery thighs.
I wish I could rave about how I worked out and ate healthy to obtain this weight loss, but I didnt. I had every intention of doing it that way, but it just didnt pan out. Instead, I had 2 surgeries for my endometriosis, and two knee injuries (which I still havent been able to afford surgery to fix.)
But what has helped me was staying busy. With owning a business, and chasing 2 kids around, I managed to always stay moving. I stopped eating out of boredom and depression, and started drinking water and green tea with honey, religiously.
But this year, I'm determined to make a HEALTHY weightloss journey to my goal weight. I've found no/low impact workouts to do. I've decided to NOT diet (because I'm terrible at being restricted) but to make better habit choices and habits.
So this year, 2019, I WILL reach my goals.
I WILL find love in myself.
I WILL be proud of who I am, and how I look
And I will NOT be embarrassed of myself anymore.
