Does anyone’s husband or significant other call then hurtful names while fighting?

Every time my husband and I fight he always call me names. Cunt, bitch, moron, idiot literally all the above and then some. Anyone else have this happen? If so what do you do?

We made it a point to establish in the beginning of our relationship to never call each other names. Never threaten our relationship or say the words I hate you. Our communication is the best I’ve ever experienced and our problem solving skills are so much better because we’re using the time to actually work through whatever is at hand vs name calling and escalating the situation

We don’t even fight. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Sometimes we argue and get mad, but we’ve never had anything like what what you’d see on tv or whatever and we always apologize almost immediately.

My husband and I have been together for 8 years and we have never had a fight and we have never called each other a name. We maybe have a small argument once a year. We have a foundation based on communication and with communication we prevent arguments and fights. ❤️

Going on 3 years and we bicker at times but were both hard headed and at times it does escalate a little further than needed but only on rare occasion does he say things to be spiteful or rude.

Unfortunately, yes. It is so very hurtful and out of both spite and rage I sometimes do it back. When we fight like that it makes me feel like the lowest person, though.
