So this is my 2nd month on Nexplanon which isn’t that long but long enough to be fully effective for sure. But my boyfriend is having trust issues about us being that 1% tht would get pregnant. It kinda bums me out that he keeps wanting to use a condom to be just that much more careful which I respect 100% don’t misunderstand me. Kinda more of a vent than anything. I do trust it preventing pregnancy as it’s meant to be for. I feel like that 1% are the woman who have sex as soon as they get it inserted instead of waiting for it to be effective. Other than that what else would slip to be a 1% statistic?! If it broke in ur arm? Ugh...
