A couple days ago, I had my first break up. We dated for 4 months, we’re both seniors in high school, and this was the first relationship for both of us. We’re both nerds lol and have diverse interests and goals. He’s planning on majoring in multidisciplinary engineering in college and I’m planning on majoring in psychology with a minor in bio. But I felt like we had a good connection and we always had fun on dates together 😃. He’s also very sweet and funny but also extremely reserved, while I’m very direct and blunt to a pt of being brutally honest.We’re also involved in a lot of diff activities and I was doing a super intense act class for a scholarship recently. So we grew a little apart over the last month bc we’ve both been so busy. And that’s when he decided to break up with me. Bc he feels that we’re too different and that he still likes me but doesn’t want to deal with conflict in the relationship. I feel like this wasn’t a big deal and wanted to face conflict head on and work on it together. I still really like him and am disappointed that he ended the relationship over this 😢.
