House wife experience sharing?

Hi i was wondering what do you think about staying at home and looking after children rather than going to work. Share with me some of your experience. I would love to hear from you

I've been a sahm for 8 years. I wouldn't change it for the world. The secret is to make sure you get out sometimes. Have the dad watch baby so you can go out with friends or walk around a store by yourself. Get a sitter for date night. Another secret is to not isolate yourself. Join some mom/baby groups. Take baby out of the house a few times a week. Go to a museum, a park, zoo, library. Go for walks on pretty days. Find hobbies/activities that make you happy. I picked up knitting and I knit hats for nicu babies. I also volunteer at my local library.
It can be lonely and depressing if you aren't careful. And being a sahm is not easy. It's the hardest job I've ever had. But I've never felt so fulfilled in my life. I thrive in my home being caretaker of my home and my children.

I did it for 2 years and then went back to work and for me I’d much rather work than stay home. It’s isolating and in my experience I was just expected to do all the cooking, cleaning, etc. I enjoy having coworkers and a paycheck. To each their own though, my mom stayed at home for 20 years and loved every minute of it.

I like it. I get to spend time with my kids and get everything done without rushing. Its boring and lonely sometimes but you get used to it.

I personally am so bored staying home and don’t end up doing the chores haha I love my job and will stay there as long as I can. If you can afford to stay home and are self motivated to be productive then go for it.

I don't have a baby yet but that's what I want to do and that's what my husband wants me to do! It's important to spend time with your babies! They aren't babies forever and I would never want someone to watch my child everyday while I go to work. I understand that not everyone has that option but if you do my advice is to stay at home!

I love being a stay at home mom. I really can’t imagine someone else raising my son. That being said I could see how some would feel board and I manage by also going to school and picking up a hobby. Now between all those things I feel as stretched thin and busy as any other mom so I enjoy my crazy hectic life ❤️ wouldn’t change it for the world. And we manage with the one income. Money isn’t everything as long as everyone is fed and happy.

Ive been a stay at home mom since last summer after I got pregnant and couldnt work in the back of an ambulance. Its been nice getting to spend time with the kids but once my fiance lost his job it put us in a really rough spot. It definitely has its pros and cons. I love being able to be with the kids all the time but I always hate  that Im not able to make my own money. Once we pay our bills and buy what our kids need were usually always broke. If it wasnt for that id probably not even consider going back to work especially since he wants me to be a stay at home mom. But also like the other said it can get boring and lonely

Well my daughters 16 months so I haven’t been doing the whole stay at home mum thing long 😂 but so far I’ve enjoyed it. Pros are: don’t need to worry about if she’s happy in daycare, don’t feel like I’m missing anything in her upbringing or development, don’t come home after a long day of work and then try and squeeze in housework, cooking dinner and looking after kids.
Cons are: money is tight and another income would definitely be nice, can often get quite lonely with no adult company, some days I just can’t be bothered and really struggle to be “present”. 
I don’t know how working mums manage, it must be so exhausting to balance work on top of family life! Having said that I do want to return to work once my next little one (due in 6 weeks) is about one
