I’ve had my baby boy just under a week ago and it is summer in Australia right now 41 Celsius (very hot) I had him in singlet and nappy and lightly covered by a wrap ( not tightly) I just picked him up to feed him and his singlet at the back was drenched in sweat and the wrap that was under his back and cheeks flushed.

He doesn’t feel extremely hot although his tummy is a bit hot and hands and feet warm now I’ve just got him on a nappy and his legs and arms are spread out wide (I’m guessing trying to stay cool.

I’m really stressing out because I don’t want him to over heat but can’t think of a way to make him comfortable and cool again.

How can you tell if a newborn is overheating and how can you cool them down ???
