When did you realize you loved your SO?

When did you realize “damn, he/she is the best person ever and I want to live the rest of my life with him/her?”
Was there a specific event that triggered it?

The day we first kissed. Sounds crazy but I knew that moment we would be together forever. 5 years in May and we have a beautiful 11 month old baby boy named Carter. He’s the only person I’ve ever been with that I haven’t gotten bored with, as bad as that sounds... lol. I love him just as much (actually more) today as I did when we met. That’s how I know it’s true love. All of my other relationship got boring, stuck in the routine, going with the motions, not trying to impress and romance each other anymore. Not with him, he tells me he loves me and that I’m beautiful every day, brings me breakfast and coffee in bed when he can, brings me flowers and makeup to surprise me, makes me happy when I’m sad and so much more. He’s literally the ideal perfect man for me. The story on how we met is super long so I didn’t think you guys wanted to hear it but everyone says it’s literally the cutest love story they’ve ever heard when we tell it! Haha let me know if you wanna hear it. But for now I’ll just say that I’m so lucky to have found that once in a lifetime kind of love. ♥️

I knew my husband was the one for me when I realized I was being nasty to him and how hurt I would be if he wasn’t apart of my life anymore. A little back story we’ve been together since high school. I’ve always been a very independent person and when we moved in together (it just happened we didn’t discuss it) I felt like my personal space was being invaded and instead of saying that I was just a really mean person and I was pushing him away. I woke up crying one night thinking that if I didn’t change I was gonna loose him and I was right he was about to leave me. Ever since then we are better about our communication so that doesn’t happen again.

When we were dating long distance, me in Texas and him in NC, taking him back to the airport after spending a few days together was the worst feeling I'd ever felt. I spent a week up in NC with him, and the thought of leaving his side made me physically sick. Missed my flight back home.. two weeks later we drove to Texas got my stuff and I've never looked back. It was the best decision I've ever made. We now live in Florida and are expecting our first baby!

It was our first “date” night in, she was cooking and I just watched her and knew that this was it. She was going to be mine ... 2 years married in May. 🥰💚
